Crane Truck

BV Home Centre provides a first-class delivery service to customers in the Bulkley Valley using five trucks from its Telkwa location and two from its Houston location. Three trucks have tip-decks and one larger unit carries 12 tons with a behind-the-cab mounted Hiab crane. We also use a cargo trailer to delivery kitchen cabinets and window packages.

Delivery Fees

For local deliveries including Smithers and area, there is modest charge of $15 for orders under $750. The charge for out-of-town deliveries depends on the distance and the truck required. There is a separate delivery fee schedule for awkward product like septic tanks, culverts, barn poles, power poles, wood pellets and mini-bags of feed and fertilizer.

Roof-top Deliveries

For shingles and roofing materials purchased from BV Home Centre Telkwa, we charge $75 to use our crane truck to place shingles on the roof of homes in the Telkwa and Smithers delivery area.

Crane Truck Fees

We generally will use the crane truck to make deliveries where it is the most efficient option. This is often the case with the delivery of larger orders of drywall. However, if the crane truck is requested by the customer to make a local delivery that could be handled by one of our smaller tip trucks, there is a $75 fee.
